The AMD Instinct MI325X is a CDNA 3 data center accelerator with 304 compute units and 256 GB of HBM3E memory at 6 TB/s, a step up in memory capacity from the MI300X for very large AI models.
It is supplied as an OAM module, designed for eight-accelerator universal baseboards (UBB) in OEM servers, rather than as a PCIe card. Cooling and power are provided by the server platform. Software support comes through AMD ROCm, which supports the common AI frameworks.
