The ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R8 is a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE module from Espressif built on the ESP32-S3 SoC, which has a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor running at up to 240 MHz. The N16R8 variant includes 16 MB of Quad SPI flash and 8 MB of Octal SPI PSRAM, the largest memory option in this module family.
It supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 5 LE, and uses an on-board PCB antenna. The extra PSRAM helps with display interfaces, camera input, audio and on-device machine learning. Developers commonly use ESP-IDF or Arduino for the ESP32-S3. Check the module datasheet for pinout and antenna keep-out requirements before you lay out your board.
